Do you still use your VCD player or you do use your DVD now adays. Did you stock your old things of throw it away or sell it in ebay if you dont want to use it and bought something new?

I bought a GPX portable DVD player recently, and have had problems with it since the first time I used it. I am probably going to return it, but was hoping to maybe get some advice as to what the problem is and how I can fix it before I do that....
My dvd player seems to be out of order and there's one disk in it... I have read the instructions and it says nothing about that. I want to buy a new player, not to repair the old one. Is there some way to rescue the trapped disk?
